If you already have an underground boundary wire installed, you can order a Dog Guard system without wire and flags.  You can also use one of these systems to UPGRADE from an Invisible Fence™, Innotek™, DogWatch™ or any other pet containment system.

Your satisfaction is vital.  That's why Dog Guard provides highly skilled installers and trainers to provide support.  Our professionals will guide you through the entire process - planning, installation, and training - providing needed information and assistance.  All have hands-on experience working with thousands of dogs - every size, breed, and behavior.

Training

Training your dog to the system is teaching your dog the new boundaries in his life.  It is a training protocol primarily based on positive reinforcement.  For your dog, the training process will be fun and interactive and includes time spent with you as well as a certified Dog Guard Trainer.  The process can take up to 5-7 days and the dog must be supervised during this period.

During the training period, our trainer works with you and your dog.  Phone consultations during this process are also encouraged, and benefits our animal and human clients alike.  Each Dog Guard invisible fence system requires pet training customized for your situation.  Training is the most important - amd most variable - part of our system.

Finding Breaks

It is recommended that you have a wire break serviced by one of our professional installers.  All of our professional installers are certified to repair or replace any Dog Guard product.  Professional installers will charge a service call for visiting your home and repairing your product.  The service call charge is not covered under the warranty provided by Dog Guard.
